Job summary

Novant Health Orthopedic & Spine Clinic seeks a motivated Athletic Trainer to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation and performance team. This role focuses on bridging rehabilitation and optimal performance through evidence-based care, movement analysis, injury prevention, and performance training.

You will contribute to patient-centered care while collaborating with clinicians to support recovery and wellness goals across diverse venues and populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a CAATE-accredited program is required.
• Graduate degree is preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience as a certified athletic trainer required.
• NATABOC certification required; NC licensed or eligible.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire required.
• Industry certification such as NSCA-CSCS or NASM preferred.

Novant Health Orthopedic & Spine Clinic is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and patient-centered Athletic Trainer to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation and performance team. This role is ideal for an athletic trainer who is passionate about helping individuals bridge the gap between rehabilitation and optimal performance through evidence-based care, movement analysis, injury prevention, and performance training.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors’ degree in athletic training or equivalent from a CAATE accredited program required.
  • Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a certified athletic trainer having participated in various administrative, educational or medical support services, required.
  • Minimum one year experience as a performance professional in a youth, college, hosptial or professional organization, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NATABOC Certification (National Athletic Trainers Association-Board of Certification), required.
  • NCBATE licensed or eligible, required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire, required.
  • Industry Certification; preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Excellent presentation skill in various group settings.
  • Strong customer service skills where the client and patient are top priority.
  • Energy and passion for mentoring others to achieve their personal recovery and wellness goals.
  • Social media experience, knowledge and participation. ability to drive and travel between venues as needed.
