Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking a compassionate Clinic Assistant who can function as an LPN or CMA. The role supports our oncology team with patient prep, vitals, and procedure assistance, while ensuring efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will have an LPN or CMA credential, a medical assisting program diploma, and current Nebraska LPN or CMA certification. The position is a full-time day shift in Lincoln with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) and health plans.

Responsibilities

Clinic Assistant - LPN or CMA

Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking qualified and compassionate professionals - either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - to support our oncology team in delivering exceptional care to our patients. This position performs routine activities required for the efficient operation of the clinic and assures the efficient and effective functioning of clinic processes.

What You'll Do

Clinical Support

• Accompany patients to exam/procedure rooms and assist with mobility or prep as needed
• Record vitals, patient history, and assist with specimen collection and screenings
• Support physicians and nurses during bone marrow biopsies and other sterile procedures
• Relay provider instructions clearly to patients and families

Administrative & Workflow

• Prepare necessary medical records for appointments
• Call in prescriptions and complete relevant forms or lab requisitions
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked exam area, following infection control procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

• Current CPR certification
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
