Job summary

Center for Disability Services in the Capital Region seeks Clinical Assistants to join our team. You will assist and promote independence in daily care for the people we support and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Openings are available at multiple locations; compensation is based on experience, program acuity, and trainings completed. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities required.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid NYS driver's license in good standing.
• OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification and SCIP-R Certification must be completed within the first three months of employment (in addition to other program specific training required during first six months of employment)

Responsibilities

• Serve as members of the individuals’ planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assisting in the implementation of individualized residential habilitation services
• Respect the individuals’ personal choice, lifestyles and their dignity to take informed risks.

We are searching for Clinical Assistants to join our agency. Openings are available at multiple locations throughout the Capital Region ! Rate of pay is commensurate on experience, Residential Program acuity, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.
