Yale New Haven Health seeks a CNA or nursing student to provide direct daily patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, data collection, and basic treatments, with opportunities for phlebotomy and EKGs as assigned.

Formación

• CNA certification required or enrollment in nursing program.
• 1 year patient care experience preferred.

• Perform non-sterile treatments (e.g., cold compresses).
• Perform phlebotomy as assigned.

• Attend mandatory inservices and educational activities.
• Support the Patient Care Manager and adapt to unit needs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent. Must be a CNA or complete certification prior to completion oforientation or has completed one clinical nursing school rotation and currently enrolled in a nursing program.

EXPERIENCE

One (1) year patient care experience (EKG, Phlebotomy, Nurse Aide, Nurse Technician) preferred.
