Department Overview:
The Medical Unit at LeConte Medical Center is our largest with 42 spacious and modern rooms. In this unit, you will see both patients who are recovering from surgeries as well as those suffering from various illnesses, thus requiring a well-rounded knowledge base for caregivers. The culture of this unit is an energetic one with a warm and welcoming, team environment. Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of professional experience. Two years experience preferred.
Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license. CPR. BLS.
