EXOS is seeking a Climbing Wall & Sports Associate to support rock climbing and recreational leagues in a hybrid role. You will supervise the wall, conduct belay checks, verify waivers, fit harnesses and shoes, and manage rental gear.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, route setting, and leading classes and events. The position also covers safety incident response, administrative tasks, registration, and league promotion.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, recreation, or outdoor education.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and customer service.
• Experience in indoor or outdoor climbing and safety awareness.
• Experience officiating, coaching, or organizing recreational leagues preferred.

Mansioni

• Supervise the climbing wall during open hours and monitor climbers for safety and rules.
• Conduct climber orientations and belay checks; verify waivers and issue belay certifications.
• Fit, check and track rental equipment; belay climbers and operate auto-belays per guidelines.
• Perform routine inspections of wall, holds, ropes, harnesses, carabiners, and auto-belays; document findings.
• Assist with setting and resetting routes; clean and maintain holds.
• Lead introductory climbing classes, youth programs, parties, and group activities.
