Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma.
• Up to two years of job related experience.
• First-Aid/AED/CPR certification (or ability to obtain certification within 60 days).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Must collaborate and work well with all areas of the department.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must work well without direct supervision.
• Must stay up to date with policies and events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all climbers have checked in and signed waivers.
• Belay climbers as they ascend the wall.
• Teach climbing classes.
• Monitor climbers for safety.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the wall and equipment.
• Provide service excellence to all patrons.
