Job summary

Central Rock Gym is seeking a Climbing Instructor to create a fun, inclusive experience for climbers of all levels. You will provide private and group instruction, helping members reach their goals while strengthening the CRG community.

Responsibilities include planning sessions, coordinating schedules, managing bookings, and promoting offerings across channels. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and a customer‑focused approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of climbing experience with some teaching or coaching.
• Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging private climbing sessions tailored to participant goals and ability levels.
• Coordinate class schedules and logistics with gym management.
• Manage private session bookings through CRG’s booking platform Rock Gym Pro.
• Promote offerings through CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym outreach; grow participation.
• Foster an inclusive, positive, community-oriented atmosphere in every session.
