Job summary

As a Front Desk Sales team member, you are the first contact for members and guests, greeting people, giving tours, explaining programs, processing sales, and keeping the front desk organized and friendly.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain programs and memberships.
• Experience with children and large groups is a plus.
• Climbing knowledge helpful but not required.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and answer questions about facility, programs, and memberships.
• Actively promote and sell memberships, day passes, programs, and retail products.
• Provide engaging tours and explain CRG benefits.
• Operate the RGP system for memberships, registrations, and sales transactions.
• Process registrations, review forms and waivers, and issue climbing gear.
• Facilitate instruction and orientation for new climbers.
• Maintain a clean gym including changing filters, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and tidying areas.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
• Develop proficiency in belaying and teach classes if location supports it.
• Support the team in maintaining a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Other duties as required.
