The Davey Tree Expert Company in Naperville, IL is seeking a climbing arborist trainee to learn and perform tree pruning and removal services. You’ll work on a crew, progressively gaining skills and knowledge in tree care, pruning guidelines, and safety practices in outdoor settings.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour with benefits, equipment and uniforms provided, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualificações

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to climb trees and work as part of a tree crew.
• Perform pruning and removal tasks safely and efficiently for clients.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems when needed.
• Assist in removal of hazardous trees and maintain tools and equipment.
