The Davey Tree Expert Company is looking for a climbing arborist in South St. Paul, MN. Your office is outdoors, and you will trim and remove trees, prune canopies, install cables and lightning protection, and support the crew to provide safe, high-quality tree care services.

You will work with a crew using chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and safety gear. Required climbing experience and love of the outdoors are essential; forestry/landscaping background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Climbing experience is required.
• Outdoor affinity is required.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees and remove/ prune as part of a crew.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Support ground crew and crew leader during tree care operations.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection as needed.
