The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist for our Chantilly, VA team. This on-site role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and an hourly pay range of $26.00–$33.00 based on experience.

The job involves climbing trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS and performing pruning, removal, and safety installations. Employees gain access to benefits, advancement opportunities, and tools provided for field operations.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping or working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Operate as an active crew member with ground crew and crew leader.
• Perform pruning and removal work safely and skillfully for clients.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Remove hazardous trees.
• Maintain and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
