A Plus Tree is seeking an experienced Climber for a full-time role in San Jose, CA. You will perform technical tree climbing, rigging, and safe removal or trimming of trees of all sizes, working with a crew to deliver high-quality, safe tree care services.

We require at least 1 year of climbing experience, a strong teamwork mindset, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds. The position offers full-time hours, standard benefits, and potential overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional tree-climbing experience.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime.
• Must be 18+ years old; 21+ to drive company vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-climb tree risk inspections.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Compensation: $25 - $35, per hour + bonus eligible and benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Climber to join our tree care team. In this role, you’ll perform technical tree climbing, rigging, and safe removal or trimming of trees of all sizes. You’ll work closely with a crew, use industry‑standard climbing techniques, and help deliver high‑quality, safe, and efficient tree care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑climb tree risk inspections


• Use approved climbing techniques, gear, and basic rigging systems


• Move throughout the canopy without climbing spurs or supervision


• Make proper cuts aloft while following all safety standards


• Safely operate hand and power tools while in the tree


• Maintain a positive, team‑focused attitude throughout the workday


• Complete daily tree care tasks within your skill level


• Follow all safety guidelines — safety is our #1 priority


• Perform other duties as assigned
