ALSTOM Gruppe is seeking a Climatic Comfort Engineer in the Town of Italy, NY. The role focuses on internal aerodynamics, thermal behaviour, and HVAC performance through CFD simulations and comfort assessments. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, or Aeronautical Engineering along with over 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of CFD tools is essential. This position involves cross-disciplinary collaboration and contributes to R&D initiatives.

Competenze

• 5+ years in thermo-fluid dynamics, HVAC, climatic comfort engineering, railway or similar sectors.
• Experience in both numerical simulation and experimental testing.
• Experience managing technical tasks or small teams is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform CFD simulations for internal aerodynamics and climatic comfort.
• Analyse thermal behaviour of passenger and driver cabins.
• Support the design and optimization of HVAC units and air ducts.
