Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an HVAC System Performance Engineer to ensure vehicle objectives are met, lead tests, and report findings. You will collaborate with product teams on virtual simulations, cooling systems, and validation plans, while driving issue resolution and proactive planning.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited) and 3+ years of relevant experience, with cross-functional collaboration and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with HVAC or cooling systems and thermal development.
• Experience with data acquisition systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review functional systems including virtual simulation analysis and cooling components.
• Lead communication and reporting of issues with status updates and resolutions.
• Plan and track vehicle validation and climate system attributes.
• Support DVP&R testing and reporting.
