Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate within the Power/HVAC division to perform jobsite installations and minor repairs on HVAC and dehumidification/purification equipment. You will operate the delivery vehicle safely and install equipment at customer locations, with opportunities to advance toward higher level tech roles.

You’ll join a team that values safety, reliability, and strong customer service, with on-site work across customer locations and potential for 24/7

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with tools applicable to the position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and be on-call for 24/7 emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
