Job summary

Morgan State University’s Center for Urban and Coastal Climate Science Research (CUCCSR) seeks a Program Coordinator to support administrative, operational, financial, research, and outreach activities. You will work with faculty investigators, students, departments, community partners, government agencies, and funders to advance program objectives.

The role emphasizes coordinating research and education initiatives, workforce development, and grant-funded programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Two years of professional administrative work experience is required.
• Master’s Degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Experience in a higher education office and general program administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program operations for the CUCCSR.
• Assist with proposal development, grant administration, and compliance requirements.
• Organize meetings, workshops, conferences, and community engagement events.
• Maintain databases and program documentation.
• Prepare reports for university leadership and funding agencies.
