Job summary

Morgan State University’s Center for Urban and Coastal Climate Science Research (CUCCSR) seeks a Program Coordinator to support the administrative, operational, financial, research, and outreach activities.

This role coordinates research, education, workforce development, and grant-funded initiatives, collaborating with faculty investigators, students, university departments, community partners, government agencies, and funding organizations to ensure successful program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
• Two years of professional administrative work experience are required.
• Master's degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Experience in a higher education office and program administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program operations and support research and externally funded projects.
• Assist with proposal development, grant administration, and compliance requirements; monitor timelines, budgets, and reporting deadlines.
• Organize meetings, workshops, conferences, and community engagement events; develop communication materials and outreach activities.
• Maintain databases and program documentation.
• Prepare reports for university leadership and funding agencies; ensure compliance with policies and sponsor regulations.
