Job summary

The Barr Foundation in Boston is seeking a full-time Program Associate to support the Climate program. You will help manage grantmaking, contracts, and external relationships, coordinating across teams to advance climate priorities with a focus on equity.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in project management, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and a willingness to learn Asana and Salesforce. Strong communication is essential.

• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; willingness to learn Asana and Salesforce.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement processes to advance grants and contracts from concept to approval; track documentation and liaise with Grants Management.
• Monitor contract invoices, grant payments, and reports for timely, accurate data.
• Track deadlines, budgets, and plan meetings; coordinate events and cross-team activities.
• Coordinate with Grants Management, IT, and Finance on systems and data analyses.
• Participate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and cross-team meetings.
