Job summary

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation seeks a Program Associate to run operations for the Forests for People and Climate Initiative (FPCI). You will partner with Environment and Science staff and grantees to ensure smooth grantmaking and implementation of climate strategies.

You will work with Program Officers and regional advisors to align processes with foundation goals. Interest in Indonesian Bahasa is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with multiple partners and grantees.
• Comfort working across environmental program areas and operations.
• Interest in forest conservation and climate strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement operations for the Forests for People and Climate Initiative (FPCI).
• Collaborate with Program Officers and regional advisors to enable effective grantmaking.
• Support internal processes to ensure grantee needs are met and systems run smoothly.
• Foster trust-based relationships with diverse internal and external partners.
