Job summary

CEDAM seeks a Michigan-focused MHC Fellow to advance clean energy lending initiatives across state partners in Detroit. This hybrid role combines in-person collaboration (1 day/week) with remote work, supporting outreach, education, and stakeholder engagement from 9 am–5 pm during standard business days.

Responsibilities

• Identify and characterize demand for clean energy projects among local governments and community institutions.
• Educate stakeholders about clean energy lending and help build Michigan’s connected ecosystem.
• Maximize use of federal/state incentives for clean energy projects.
• Create a case study tracing a project's predevelopment and financing stages.
• Plan meetings and outreach to share resources for reducing emissions and energy use.
• Participate in MHC Fellows development, including three in-person convenings and monthly virtual trainings.
