Job summary

MSCI's Climate & Sustainability, Physical Risk organization seeks a data product leader to own the First Street data product as it becomes part of MSCI platforms. You’ll define data contracts, drive AI-ready documentation, and collaborate with Science PM and Development PM to turn complex climate risk data into reliable, well-documented data products.

You’ll focus on data quality, lifecycle management, and customer-focused roadmap, working with Data Operations and MSCI teams to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management building data products or analytics platforms.
• Direct climate physical risk modeling experience or adjacent risk modeling.
• Fluency with data schemas, APIs, versioning and data-quality standards; SQL experience.
• Ability to translate models into customer-facing decisions and language.
• Experience delivering data to partners via APIs or feeds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own data contracts, schemas, versioning, and changelogs for First Street data.
• Drive documentation, accessibility, and AI-readiness of datasets.
• Manage refresh cadence, lifecycle, and deprecation timelines.
• Collaborate with MSCI Climate & Sustainability and Data Operations to align data products with platforms.
• Translate science outputs into reliable data products for customers and platforms.
