Job summary

Watershed, a climate data platform with offices in multiple cities, is hiring a software engineer to ship customer‑facing features and build data visualizations and APIs for emissions data. You will work on a frontend/backend stack centered on React, TypeScript, CSS, and Node.js, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver product outcomes that customers love.

Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering industry experience, preferably in Node.js web development or data pipelines.
Experience building scalable software starting from user needs.
Excited to join a startup and help evolve a growing engineering team.

Responsibilities

Build new interactive data visualizations to help climate leads understand their company's emissions.
Build APIs to unify carbon data access for customers and other engineers.
Build tools that help financial institutions measure and report emissions across their portfolio companies.
Ship code to production on day one; collaborate with product, design, climate science, and data science to iterate on software that helps our customers understand their climate data.
