The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is seeking a Program Manager to advance climate resilience, adaptation, and disaster mitigation initiatives. You will collaborate with volunteer groups, coordinate educational programs, and drive member engagement across Climate Action and Design Excellence networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations/communications or related fields with 4–5 years of admin or project management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience with resilience or disaster response programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage volunteer leadership, events, and knowledge delivery across programs.
• Coordinate disaster response education and community engagement initiatives.
• Support state disaster networks and inter-group collaboration.
• Liaise with Government Affairs, Communications, and internal teams to advance resilience planning.
