Job summary

Varley in Palo Alto is seeking a Service & Selling Manager to elevate the customer experience, drive selling behaviours, and lead the team on the shop floor.

You will open and close shifts, coach staff, manage clienteling via CRM, and ensure brand standards while hitting sales targets.

This role requires at least two years in a supervisory retail role; premium retail experience is preferred and proficiency with POS and CRM is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or service-led retail role.
• Experience in a key-holder position within a premium or omnichannel retail environment preferred.
• Strong selling ability with confidence in styling and product storytelling.
• Comfortable using retail technology including POS systems and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop floor during assigned shifts, delivering Varley’s service ceremony.
• Drive sales performance, clienteling activity, and customer loyalty on the floor.
• Coach and develop Style Advisors to build product knowledge and confidence.
• Collaborate with store leadership to ensure brand standards and operational excellence.
