Job summary

New Jersey Association On Correction Inc is seeking a Transportation & Facilities Assistant to provide safe client transportation and light maintenance support. The role also involves setting up meeting spaces, moving supplies, and maintaining logs and vehicle readiness for daily use.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and at least one year of driving experience. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of driving experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from appointments, activities, meetings, and resources.
• Assist clients entering and exiting vehicles when appropriate.
• Maintain transportation logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep organization vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for daily use.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms, training spaces, and event areas.
• Receive and distribute deliveries and supplies; coordinate with vendors as needed.
