Job summary

The New Jersey Association On Correction Inc is seeking a Transportation & Facilities Assistant to provide safe client transport and assist with light maintenance and facility tasks. You will drive clients to appointments, help with entering vehicles, and maintain logs and vehicle readiness.

You will also support room setups, handle deliveries, coordinate with vendors, and help maintain clean, secure environments across office, community, and transportation settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of driving experience.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from appointments and activities.
• Assist clients entering and exiting vehicles.
• Maintain transportation logs and vehicle inspection reports.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for daily use.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and assist with facility needs.
• Set up and break down meeting and event spaces.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and support staff with errands.
