Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid and in good standing state driver’s license required.
• CPR certification may be required; training offered upon hire.
• De-escalation certification may be required; training offered upon hire.
• First aid certification may be required depending on state or facility rules.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activities, discharges, and events.
• Picks up or transports visitors or staff as needed.
• Ensures all passengers wear seatbelts before starting the vehicle.
• Maintains supervision of clients during transport and in the vehicle.
• Provides verbal reports to oncoming shift and completes transportation documentation.
