Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Client Specialist to support and manage desktop hardware, software deployments, and ticketing in a fast-paced IT environment on the East Baltimore Campus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Systems Engineers, vendor coordination, and adherence to JHH standards for long-term IT goals. This is a full-time, 100% on-site position with regular business hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• One year related experience with computing devices and operating systems.
• Knowledge in the assigned IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Support existing hardware and software installations and upgrades.
• Lead new implementations with vendor and IT Manager to develop task lists and status reports.
• Resolve work orders and provide desktop support.
• Maintain tickets in the ticketing system and update resolutions.
• Test and deploy software deployments and upgrades with Systems Engineers.
• Maintain device and software inventories and participate in disaster planning.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
