Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corp. in Chicago, IL seeks a Client Support Professional to join the Private Client team.

You will be the primary contact for clients, delivering timely, accurate, and personalized service with a focus on administrative support for lenders and standard portfolios. Daily tasks include handling requests via phone or system, processing account openings, balance inquiries, and wire activity, plus assisting with transfers, payoffs, and onboarding new clients.

Qualifications

• High School Degree.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry and customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Lenders with standard portfolios within a specific market.
• Handle daily customer requests via phone and/or system such as account opening, balance inquiries, and wire processing.
• Perform advances, transfers, payoffs, and paydowns on loans.
• Troubleshoot and investigate customer issues and onboard new clients.
• Support Relationship Managers by answering calls, preparing packages, data entry, tracking vendor invoices, and gathering information to resolve issues or complete projects.
• Troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve client concerns efficiently.
• Provide administrative support for 3 - 5 Private Client Bankers with standard portfolios within a specific market.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
• Work in fast-paced, client-focused environments where you will need the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
