Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Client Service Professional in Wheaton, IL, offering hybrid work and a pathway to growth within a community-focused banking group. You will serve as a liaison among Loan Ops, Treasury Management, and Deposit Operations, handling routine requests and onboarding new clients.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking, excellent customer service, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years banking experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Word; familiarity with FIS, Salesforce, and/or ACBS a plus.
• Knowledge and understanding of loan documents, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch support to commercial clients, acting as a liaison between Loan Ops, Treasury Management and Deposit Operations.
• Provide administrative support for a team of lenders with standard portfolios within a market.
• Process daily customer requests via phone or system (account openings, balance inquiries, wire processing, loan advances and payoffs).
• Troubleshoot and investigate customer issues and onboard new clients.
• Support Relationship Managers by answering calls, preparing loan packages, data entry, and tracking vendor invoices.
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

What You’ll Do:

• The Client Service Professional provides high touch support to commercial clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience, by serving as a liaison between internal contacts such as Loan Ops, Treasury Management and Deposit Operations.
• Provide administrative support for a team of Lenders with standard portfolios within a specific market.
• Process daily customer requests via phone and/or system such as account opening, balance inquiries, wire processing, advances, transfers, payoffs and pay downs on loans.
• Troubleshoot and investigate customer issues and onboard new clients.
• Support Relationship Managers by answering calls, preparing loan packages, data entry, tracking vendor invoices and gathering information to resolve issues or complete projects.
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ banking experience with strong knowledge of account opening, commercial loan servicing a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of organization and time-management with keen attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities and tasks
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Word; familiarity with FIS, Salesforce, and/or ACBS a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of various loan documents, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures

Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $24.04 - $31.25 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
