Job summary

Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis seeks a Client Support Associate to shadow client appointments, learn financial plans, and support advisors in delivering the client experience. You will handle service interactions, prepare advisors for meetings, and assist with paperwork and scheduling.

In-office collaboration is required four days per week with one day remote. A base salary is offered with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Current FINRA Series 7, S63/S66 and state IAR licenses (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Minnesota Life, Accident/Health Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience delivering outstanding client service.
• Detail oriented, strong math and analytical skills.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle client interactions including converting service calls to sales opportunities.
• Prepare Financial Advisors for sales presentations and client meetings.
• First call resolution, setting up accounts, completing and processing paperwork, scheduling meetings, and routine clerical tasks.
• Transact and process business on behalf of advisors and product specialists; support the Client Relationship Manager in financial planning.
• Gather information to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Liaise between Product Specialists and Financial Advisors for recommendations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve skills and licenses up to date.
