Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Customer Support Specialist to professionally service customer calls in rental and sale of construction/industrial equipment. You will understand customer needs, negotiate orders, create rental contracts, and support sales with courtesy and accuracy.

The role is frontline, offering exposure to a wide range of equipment and a chance to mentor others in the district while delivering top-tier service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of equipment rental industry experience preferred.
• Strong telephone skills and customer service aptitude.
• Solid computer skills and ability to read numbers in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides responsive, exemplary customer service to current and potential customers.
• Determines customer equipment needs and suggests appropriate equipment.
• Negotiates price and volume of original orders to maximize rate.
• Places and tracks rental/purchase orders in the system and coordinates deliveries.
• Administers rental contracts and handles invoicing adjustments when needed.
• Handles customer complaints professionally to resolve issues.
