Job description

The Client Success Manager is the primary point of contact for assigned clients and the person who keeps campaigns moving across internal teams. This role owns the client relationship day to day, from marketing managers up to executive stakeholders, and makes sure work ships on time and on budget at the quality the client expects. It sits at the center of the account: turning client goals into clear direction for delivery teams, and turning team progress into updates the client trusts.

This is a coordination and relationship role. The Client Success Manager works alongside strategists and channel specialists who own the strategic direction, and leans on them for the heavy strategic thinking. Success looks like calm, organized accounts where the client always knows where things stand and delivery teams always know what they owe and when.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, including regular communication with client marketing teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Keep campaigns on track by managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets across internal creative, media, and production teams.
  • Run client meetings: set the agenda, present updates and results in PowerPoint or Slides, capture next steps, and follow through on every commitment.
  • Build and maintain project plans in the agency's project management platform, keeping each task, owner, and due date current.
  • Coordinate handoffs between teams and outside partners so campaigns move cleanly from intake through launch and reporting.
  • Translate client requests into clear briefs for delivery teams. Translate performance results back into plain updates clients understand.
  • Monitor account health and surface risks, delays, or client concerns early, before they turn into problems.
  • Partner with strategy and account leadership to identify growth and optimization opportunities, then bring them to the client.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation, status reports, and CRM records.
  • Advocate for the client internally while protecting the agency's timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in account management, client success, campaign management, or marketing project management, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Working knowledge of direct and digital marketing: how campaigns come together, what the major channels do, and how results get measured. Deep channel expertise is not required.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of running several accounts and competing deadlines at once without dropping details.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including confidence presenting to senior client stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with a project management platform such as Asana, ClickUp, Monday, or Workfront.
  • Skilled with PowerPoint or Slides, plus Excel or Sheets, for building client decks, status reports, and simple performance views.
  • Familiarity with CRM and client management tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot. Preferred
  • Comfort using AI tools for meeting notes, reporting, drafting, and status updates, with good judgment about when to rely on them.
  • Ability to read marketing dashboards well enough to interpret results, not only pass them along.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a habit of tightening process where it runs loose.
What makes someone a fit

The right person is organized to their core and genuinely likes people. They can live inside the details of a project plan, then step back and see where an account is heading. They stay calm under pressure and are experts at shutting down swirl. Clients trust them because they always know the status and they always do what they said they would. They are the face of the agency to the client, and they carry that well. They are well-aligned with Bridgetree's core values.
