Job description

Amerge is seeking a Client Strategy Lead to join our dynamic, rapidly expanding Biz Dev team based in the US. In this role, you will develop relationships with brands and tailor our agency offerings in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet industry-specific needs. You will be the team's expert in guiding brands to succeed on Amazon and its various services. As an advanced partner agency of Amazon and a four-time partner award winner, Amerge provides the ideal platform for you to achieve your goals.

The candidate must fully understand our four key pillars and consult with current and existing clients (see our website for more details):

  • Selling partner services
  • Creative services
  • Amazon Ads
  • Amerge Tech

Responsibilities include:

  1. Building and managing long-term partnerships with US-based brands selling globally.
  2. Driving US market growth by identifying new business opportunities, product innovations, and customer trends.
  3. Managing strategic and global accounts to cross-sell and scale, while pursuing new business leads within your designated portfolio.
  4. Pitching business to new and existing clients across Amerge’s four pillars: Selling Partner Services (Vendor & Seller), Creative Services, Amazon Ads, and Amerge Tech (Amerge View & Amerge Engine).
  5. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and Amazon representatives via video calls and email communication.
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Account Management, Analytics, Selling Partner, and Creative Services to enhance category performance.
  7. Representing Amerge at shows and conferences to promote our brand and establish new relationships.
  8. Engaging in innovative projects for personal development and company growth.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in client management or account management.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport and conveying information effectively.
  3. At least 2+ years of experience with Amazon Ads/Retail or similar digital e-commerce platforms.
  4. Over 2+ years of sales experience with a quota/target focus.
  5. Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a results-oriented approach.
  6. Self-motivated, goal-driven, and capable of working independently.
  7. Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office, CRM software).
