Job summary

Talbots store in Upper Montclair, NJ is seeking a Regular/Part time Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with customers. You will join a team focused on welcoming shoppers, understanding needs, and promoting Talbots products.

The role requires availability at least 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. The position offers an hourly wage with a generous merchandise discount and other perks.

Qualifications

• Available at least 20 hours per week.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including: Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, Talbots Classic Awards etc.
• Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business.
• Share current products and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire and build trust.
