Job summary

The Talbots Wayzata store in Minnesota is seeking a part-time associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and build lasting relationships. You will help clients with wardrobe needs, share fashion insights, and promote Talbots products while maintaining store standards.

You will contribute to achieving sales targets, participate in community events, and may lead others occasionally. The role supports a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with merchandise discounts for

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ambition and goal orientation.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse environment.
• Passion for selling and driving traffic to the store.
• Technological aptitude to navigate POS/computer/iPad/handheld systems.
• Available at least 20 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, lifting 40 lbs.

• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including Clientelling/Outreach and Appointments.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.

• Share product knowledge and fashion trends to wardrobe customers and build trust.
• Participate in store activities and events promoting the Talbots brand.
• Lead/supervise others occasionally and open/close the store.
