Job summary

The Villages is seeking a full-time on-site IT administrator to configure, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and document computer systems for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, analyzing failures, and managing user accounts. A BA or relevant certification and 2–4 years of related experience are required, with a valid driver's license for company business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical certification; or 2–4 years related experience
• This position requires use of ConnectWise ticketing system for tracking client needs and services
• Must meet The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and bring a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer products, equipment, and software
• Coordinate training of facility managers on system aspects
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures; replace parts as needed
• Knowledge of Active Directory, desktop/server management, printer installation and configuration
• Manage account creation, deletion, and alterations
• Create and set guidelines to perform job functions
• Update knowledge through education and professional networks
• All other duties as assigned

Job description

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for configuring, installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and documenting computer software, hardware and peripherals supporting TSG and TSG Customers. This position is assigned work primarily through ConnectWise ticketing system, to best keep track of client needs and services. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer products, equipment, and software.
• Coordinate the training of facility managers on some aspects of the systems.
• Identify, analyze, and repair product failures, orders, and replace parts as needed.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Including, but not limited to: Active Directory, Desktop and Server Management, Printer installation, configuration, management, repair, and software deployment and configuration.
• Manage the process of account creation, deletion, and alterations like name change due to marriage or divorce.
• Create and set guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from college or certification for a technical school; or
• Two (2) to four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• This position is subjected to The Villages Vehicle Safety Program and its policies as it requires the use of personal vehicles for company business.
• A valid Driver's License with a record acceptable to company standards is required for this position.
