Job summary

The Salvation Army Columbia Corps in Missouri is hiring a full-time Client Services Assistant to oversee emergency assistance operations, intake applications, and voucher distributions. The role includes Baby Pantry support, documentation, and visitor assistance, as well as coordinating and training volunteers.

Starting pay is up to $18.00 per hour, with responsibilities spanning social services, data management, and general office duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with diverse cultures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass TSA MVR check.
• Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Salvation Army and government resources is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled staff and team management meetings; maintain communication with Corps Officers.
• Provide emergency assistance with applications for rent/utilities and vouchers.
• Maintain and organize client files and monthly statistics in SIMS/HMIS.
• Coordinate and train volunteers for the Columbia Corps.
• Support clerical duties; assist visitors and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with the Christmas Angel Tree program and donor communications.
• Ensure operations comply with policy and regulatory standards.
