AtlantiCare is seeking a Client Services Representative to join our hospital/ambulatory team. The role focuses on front-desk support, scheduling patient appointments, and accurate data entry of patient information and insurance details.

The position emphasizes customer service and financial information accuracy, with training on CPT4/ICD-10 and Clinical Applications to be completed within 30–60 days. A high school diploma is required, and experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of office experience preferred, ideally in a medical setting.
• Minimum 1 year experience with insurance; CPT4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; training will occur within 30–60 days.

The Representative also ensures the timely and organized scheduling of patient appointments, patient insurance information, enters client information into the computer, and provides accurate financial information to clients. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years office experience required, preferably in a medical setting. Minimum 1 year insurance, 4 and ICD-10 coding experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position. ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.
