Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Client Services professional in San Diego to support long-term care pharmacy operations for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The role focuses on serving as a single point of contact, conducting customer training, and educating facilities on pharmacy programs and technology.

Located in San Diego, this full-time position requires local availability, good organizational skills, and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify early warning signs of potential issues and problem solve.
  • Conduct customer training to support roll-out of programs and services.
  • Educate customers on utilizing key pharmacy programs and technology.
  • Build relationships with facility administration and staff.
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
  • Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary by business needs.
  • Single Point of Contact for customers.
  • Customer Focus Visits.
  • Medication cart audits.
  • Medication Room Audits.
  • Medication cycle fill checks.

Job Summary

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented

Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice or med tech certificate
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred
  • Knowledge of brand name/generic medications
Physical Demands
  • May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, walk
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as neededMay lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

Holiday & PTO Policy
  • Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.
  • Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses.
  • Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility.

Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
