Job summary

Trane Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Client Service Representative to build long-term customer relationships and grow account penetration by offering HVAC system solutions. You will support account managers, prepare proposals, and drive service opportunities across IAQ, energy solutions, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC, or Facilities Management.

• Support assigned account managers and their customers with HVAC system product selections, proposals and sales development.
• Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other Service repair work under.
• Generate estimates and proposals for service work.
• Provide quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, and energy solutions including quotes for time and material as well as fixed price service.
• Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.

In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing/offering HVAC system-related solutions.

What you will do:

• Support assigned account managers and their assigned customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
