Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Certified Payroll Professional to join our payroll, tax and HCM team. You will support thousands of clients nationwide with accurate payroll processing and strong customer service.

This full-time/temporary role offers weekly pay, paid time off and benefits, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Payroll, HR, Benefits, or SaaS customer service.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Proficient in 10-key data entry.
• Ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, and collaborative.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain employee payroll records, time and attendance, new hires, terminations, benefits, and deductions.
• Process full-cycle payroll, including file feeds, time sheets, and attendance tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service through professional phone and email communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with special projects as needed, which may occasionally require overtime or weekend work.

Pay Rate

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Open to pay more depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Friday (some Saturdays)

8:00am - 5:00pm
