Job description

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Manager I to join our Client Services-Fitness team. This position will serve as the primary contact for designated clients regarding service activities and new program implementations.

Salary Range

American Specialty Health complies with wage and hour laws. Compensation depends on qualifications, education, skills, experience, and internal equity. The full-time annual salary range is $48,000 to $57,000.

Remote Worker Considerations

This role involves remote training and work from home (WFH). Candidates must have a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download and upload speeds) and the ability to participate in video meetings using company-provided technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the knowledge source for assigned client relationships and programs.
  2. Lead implementation processes and provide daily service for low to medium complexity programs.
  3. Respond to client calls within the same business day, Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. PST.
  4. Acknowledge receipt of client emails within 24 hours.
  5. Create and distribute status reports and work plans.
  6. Keep department leadership informed of client issues routinely.
  7. Communicate high-level issues with executives and management.
  8. Support and provide updates during Key Process Team meetings.
  9. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and activities, including meeting minutes and action items within two days.
  10. Utilize support staff for administrative and service activities.
  11. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  12. Coordinate operational meetings and support client training.
  13. Handle administrative duties related to health plan accounts.
  14. Act as a backup for other Client Services Managers.
  15. Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  16. Seek training and support to advance to a higher managerial role.
  17. Support departmental document management and participate in client entertainment and projects.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; high school diploma required if experience is equivalent.
  2. At least two years of experience in client, account, or project management, with high-level customer support experience.
  3. Experience with managed health care plans (preferred).
  4. Proficient in MS Office, database management, and spreadsheets.
  5. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance.
  6. Acceptable credit to qualify for a company credit card.
