Job description

Our client is an established independent registered investment adviser in Plano, Texas, helping individuals and families prepare for, enter, and enjoy retirement through personalized financial planning, investment management, and relationship-driven guidance.

The firm is committed to providing an exceptional retirement-planning experience through its people, processes, and planning. It offers a close-knit, faith-based, purpose-driven workplace centered on integrity, service, excellence, and positivity.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The firm is creating a new Client Service Manager position to expand service capacity and become a trusted point of contact for ongoing client needs after onboarding. This role manages client service—not people—and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, speaking with clients, organizing a busy workload, and making sure every commitment is completed accurately and on time.

No prospecting required: The focus is serving established client relationships and helping advisors remain focused on planning, advice, and business development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Deliver responsive, thoughtful day-to-day service to existing clients after onboarding.
  • Own routine requests such as beneficiary changes, address updates, withdrawals, distributions, account questions, and related service needs.
  • Receive and complete action items generated during advisor meetings.
  • Review new and outstanding CRM tasks each day and prioritize them based on urgency, deadlines, and business impact.
  • Communicate proactively by phone and email, using personal phone contact when it will create a better client experience.
  • Build trust by learning about clients, asking thoughtful follow-up questions, and providing clear status updates.
  • Maintain complete CRM notes, task records, documentation, and follow-up dates in Redtail.
  • Coordinate with the client-service leader, advisory team, custodial or platform partners, and internal operations resources to move requests through completion.
  • Resolve routine service needs independently and elevate questions appropriately.
  • Use technology and AI tools responsibly to improve communication, organization, and productivity.
  • Help improve workflows, reduce backlog, and prevent dropped commitments.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED
  • A warm, patient approach and genuine energy for helping people.
  • A confident and personable phone presence.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.
  • The ability to manage a high volume of tasks from request through completion.
  • Calm judgment when several priorities compete for attention.
  • A proactive ownership mindset and comfort working without constant direction.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Willingness to work primarily onsite in Plano and contribute within a small, collaborative team.
  • Comfort working in a faith-based, purpose-driven environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in an RIA, wealth management firm, bank, credit union, insurance organization, retirement-services firm, or other regulated client-service environment.
  • Experience with Redtail CRM, Charles Schwab workflows, AE Wealth, eMoney, or comparable systems.
  • Group 1 credentials, Series 65, CFP coursework, or related financial-services education.
  • Experience serving retired or senior clients and handling sensitive financial requests with discretion.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Base salary of $60,000–$70,000, commensurate with experience and fit.
  • Health plan options with a $900 monthly employer contribution toward selected employee coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match; plan details and eligibility timing will be shared during the interview process.
  • Approximately 15 days of combined paid time off each year.
  • Professional development, cross-training, and the opportunity to expand responsibility as the firm grows.
LOCATION & SCHEDULE
  • Primarily onsite at the firm’s Plano office.
  • Typical hours are approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Limited flexibility may be available at the firm’s discretion but is not a guaranteed feature of the role.
