THE OPPORTUNITY
The firm is creating a new Client Service Manager position to expand service capacity and become a trusted point of contact for ongoing client needs after onboarding. This role manages client service—not people—and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, speaking with clients, organizing a busy workload, and making sure every commitment is completed accurately and on time.
No prospecting required: The focus is serving established client relationships and helping advisors remain focused on planning, advice, and business development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deliver responsive, thoughtful day-to-day service to existing clients after onboarding.
- Own routine requests such as beneficiary changes, address updates, withdrawals, distributions, account questions, and related service needs.
- Receive and complete action items generated during advisor meetings.
- Review new and outstanding CRM tasks each day and prioritize them based on urgency, deadlines, and business impact.
- Communicate proactively by phone and email, using personal phone contact when it will create a better client experience.
- Build trust by learning about clients, asking thoughtful follow-up questions, and providing clear status updates.
- Maintain complete CRM notes, task records, documentation, and follow-up dates in Redtail.
- Coordinate with the client-service leader, advisory team, custodial or platform partners, and internal operations resources to move requests through completion.
- Resolve routine service needs independently and elevate questions appropriately.
- Use technology and AI tools responsibly to improve communication, organization, and productivity.
- Help improve workflows, reduce backlog, and prevent dropped commitments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in an RIA, wealth management firm, bank, credit union, insurance organization, retirement-services firm, or other regulated client-service environment.
- Experience with Redtail CRM, Charles Schwab workflows, AE Wealth, eMoney, or comparable systems.
- Group 1 credentials, Series 65, CFP coursework, or related financial-services education.
- Experience serving retired or senior clients and handling sensitive financial requests with discretion.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary of $60,000–$70,000, commensurate with experience and fit.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE
- Primarily onsite at the firm’s Plano office.
- Typical hours are approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
