Job summary

The Salvation Army, Fairbanks Corps is seeking a Part-Time Client Services Coordinator to oversee and implement client services for our family services ministry. You will coordinate daily services for individuals needing assistance and recruit or guide community volunteers to support programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating food box distributions, rental and utility assistance, and maintaining HUD HMIS data handling.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 2+ years in related field required.
Working knowledge of local resources and community stakeholders preferred.
Proficiency with general office equipment.
Ability to speak and understand English clearly for communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct food box distributions and coordinate with the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
Provide services to families seeking assistance through community networking.
Provide family continuity of care including rental and utility assistance and vouchers.
Become proficient in HUD HMIS data collection system as required by grants.
Utilize HUD HMIS data collection system for reporting and compliance.
Assist individuals seeking information regarding Salvation Army services (in person, phone, email).
Maintain client and statistical records, reports, and data for Family Services-related assistance.
Work with and recruit volunteers with the Volunteer Coordinator to support programs.
Drive as needed for errands, mail, and staff meetings.
