Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Rocklin, CA is seeking an experienced Banker for a direct hire opportunity. Depending on experience, this role may align with CSR II, CSR III, or Senior CSR, focusing on client service, new accounts, and relationship building.

You will open and manage consumer and business accounts, cross-sell financial products, process teller transactions, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of banking teller experience, depending on placement level.
• Experience opening consumer accounts is required.
• Experience opening basic or complex business accounts is required for higher-level CSR III or Senior CSR consideration.
• Strong customer relations skills with professional communication.
• Working knowledge of banking regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act, information security, account titling, and required documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking systems.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, positive, and professional attitude while resolving client issues with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain, and close consumer accounts, business accounts, checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and related banking products based on experience level.
• Interview and profile clients to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer clients to internal partners to support branch goals and improve the client experience.
• Process teller transactions as needed while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong balancing record.
• Ensure account documentation is complete, approved, uploaded, and compliant with bank policies and applicable banking regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional service to clients in person and by phone while helping retain and support at-risk customers.
