You don't just process paperwork — you build the systems that keep a practice running. A growing Knoxville firm is looking for exactly that.
The Opportunity
Stivers Wealth Management is a planning-led independent advisory firm in Knoxville, led by Brian Stivers (advising clients since 1992) and Justin Stivers, JD, CFP®. The firm serves individuals and families with comprehensive financial planning — retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and Social Security strategies. The culture is high-touch, low-bureaucracy, and built on a simple standard: every client leaves feeling more confident about their money, their life, and their future. Founded less than 24 months ago, they've already seen client demand outpace capacity.
This is the firm's first dedicated hire. You won't be employee #47 lost in a department. You'll be the operational backbone of the entire practice — owning annuity case processing end-to-end, managing Schwab custody workflows, running scheduling and client communications, and keeping the office client-ready when the partners are in meetings or out of the building. This is a small team where your name is known, your ideas are heard, and your work is visible from day one.
You're the Right Fit If...
You take pride in getting paperwork right on the first pass — because you know a NIGO is a delay that affects a real person's retirement. You're comfortable being the only person in the office at times, managing your own workflows, and communicating proactively when something needs attention. You've handled annuity applications, Schwab account openings, and carrier follow-up before — and you're ready to own that process, not just support it. You want autonomy, trust, and the chance to grow into operations leadership and earn a seat at the table as the firm scales.
