We are expanding our San Francisco Bay Area office and are looking for a professional passionate about wealth management. The ideal candidate will be personable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with limited supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Service and Account Maintenance
- Provide support or serve as back-up to client service‑related functions (cash movements, client reporting outside of periodic reports).
- Create new accounts, groups, and households in the portfolio accounting system and client relationship management platform.
- Reconcile and maintain client accounts with custodian records; reconcile groups and households in portfolio accounting system.
- Track and update cost basis information; collect and save documents to support cost basis information.
- Gather 1099s, K‑1s, and other tax documents as requested by clients and accountants.
Quarterly Reporting
Generate reports from portfolio accounting system and upload them to the client portal.
Private Investments
- Fill out subscription documents and coordinate with private investment managers.
- Liaise with our private investment teams and custodian as needed.
- Reconcile and maintain manual client accounts with private investment administrators’ records in portfolio accounting system.
- Track and tag clients’ intra‑group asset flows in portfolio accounting system.
Qualifications/Competencies
- Ability to work well under pressure with aptitude in prioritizing tasks.
- Proactive and works well with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
- Interest in streamlining processes.
- 2 to 5 years experience with a registered investment advisor or investment/asset management firm.
Salary Range:
$100,000+ depending on experience
