Job summary

Holmes Murphy is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join the Property Casualty team in Sioux Falls, SD. The role supports client experiences by preparing certificates, processing invoices, and updating systems to ensure accuracy and timely follow-ups.

The position emphasizes strong administrative skills, project coordination, and proactive problem-solving within a forward-thinking culture at Holmes Murphy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; college degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in insurance.
• Active state Property & Casualty license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles to consult with clients and support workflows and compliance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
• Invoice agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
• Ensure accuracy of invoicing and work with accounting to resolve any discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 0-1 year of administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Licensing: Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
• Technical Competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance. Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
